About Path of the Kshatriya

Path of the Kshatriya is a project dedicated to esoteric spirituality and Indo-European culture and religion. Here, I mainly promote theories relating to European history, esotericism and magic, archaeology, metaphysics, and pagan lore.

The kshatriya was one of the ruling classes of ancient Vedic society. They were fierce warrior-kings, aristocratic elitists who both ruled and defended their nation and values. 

David Frawley called for an "intellectual kshatriya," one who would defend Sanātana Dharma from it's enemies. Frawley saw Hinduism as under attack from Judeo-Christianity, Islam, Marxism, and materialism. Intellectual kshatriyas may exist in every culture, as defenders of their traditions, customs, and beliefs from lies and tyranny. Path of the Kshatriya advocates Frawley's idea of the intellectual warrior, extending it to encompass spirituality and the wider Indo-European tradition as a whole. 

I have always been interested in spirituality, religion, and mythology. More importantly, I have always been fascinated with religious archetypes, and the hidden meanings behind religious myths and symbolism. As an American man of European descent, my journey has led me to practice and follow Indo-European spirituality (from Hinduism to Zoroastrianism and Germanic paganism). I recognize my own heritage as being under attack from foreign influences, just as Frawley recognized was the case in India. My goal is to embody the intellectual kshatriya, and defend my heritage from its demise.

Nowadays, spirituality is a term that raises in the minds of many the corrupt and immoral image that has taken on the guise of spirituality. From the New Age movement to Wicca, many modern institutions use the term spirituality or religion to justify their own misunderstandings and decadent behavior. 

In actuality, spirituality refers to the spirit within, and the ways to awakening it. Our ancestors had a rich and thorough sense of religion and spirit, which is currently being reawakened and rediscovered through the efforts of many. A metaphysical renaissance is happening amongst those of European ancestry today, and I want to be a part of that renaissance by promoting these interests.
